The Ohio State Fairgrounds use the Ohio State Highway Patrol for Security.

No vaping or smoking of any kind backstage.

No smelling of pot or alcohol, no controlled substances. The officers that we have backstage are Ohio State Highway Patrol Officers. They are trained to detect substance abuse. IF you are lucky and I catch you in a different state of mind, you will be told to leave. You do not want the OSHP - Ohio State Highway Patrol to enforce their policy.

No firearms / weapons — They are not permitted on the worksite. This is against our IATSE Local 12 work rules.

Appearance:

No T-shirts with profanity and no ripped shirts. You are on a Union work call. This is a family-oriented fair. Fair Management will ask you to leave if not dressed appropriately. 

Catering: 

Catering is strictly off limits unless the steward directs you to go there to eat.  If you are hungry after the call is over, there is food to eat on the fairgrounds.
